Ryan is truly a jack of all trades. His ability to quickly adapt and conquer the most challenging circumstances while under extreme pressure is why Ryan is the best fit to head our crushing and recycling operations at American Asphalt Materials.
As a third generation family member of our company, Ryan began his career in asphalt at the early age of fifteen working along side his father Keith and older brother Joel. While in high school, Ryan worked part-time in our maintenance shop where he helped maintain our fleet of trucks and equipment until he graduated from high school.
After graduating from Brookfield East High School in 1999, Ryan began working on our asphalt paving crew where he acquired the essential skills needed to successfully build quality-made parking lots and roadways. He continued to work on the crew for several years before taking a position as a screw operator on the paving crew at Munson, Inc. At Munson, he learned the importance of fine detailed work building residential driveways and tennis courts.
In 2004, Ryan returned to American Asphalt Materials and has since held his position as our recycled products division manager.
Ryan specializes in inventory management, metal fabrication, and hydraulic and pneumatic control systems. Always open to new possibilities for improving cost efficiencies and production methods, Ryan is vital to our success.
When asked what he most likes about his day to day activities, Ryan states:
"I like the challenges that my job forces me to take on. Understanding our customers and what's expected as it relates to product quality and keeping up with their demands for crushed aggregate products is what I enjoy most."
In his free time, Ryan enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife Gabriel and their daughter.
